EMDR stands for
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
It’s a type of therapy designed to help people heal from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and other emotional distress by helping the brain reprocess painful memories. It often involves guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to support emotional healing.
What’s my “why” for designing this website?
I designed this website to help anyone who wants to change but can’t seem to do it on their own, or with traditional therapy.
For years, I invested deeply in traditional counseling, spending thousands and believing in its potential for healing. Yet, for me, it wasn’t enough; the trauma ran too deep. What finally created real change was a different path: EMDR and hypnotherapy. EMDR cracked the door open, helping me face and reframe some PTSD from a traumatic event in my past. But it was hypnotherapy that took me even deeper. In just a few sessions, it reached the core of my subconscious, freeing me from blocks, reprogramming limiting beliefs, fears, and old stories.” With these tools, I’ve been able to break long-standing patterns and shift habits—not just powerfully, but quickly.
EMDR & Hypnotherapy for Lasting Change
Rewire Your Brain & Step Into Your Purpose
Have you ever felt like you’re stuck on a hamster wheel of old thoughts, patterns or self-doubt? That nagging “crazy” inner voice that whispers, “What was I thinking?” Or “How could I be so stupid?” It’s not about just forgetting the past, but truly letting go of those old patterns of belief and negative talk that hold you back. I’m here to tell you: there is immense hope!
It means learning to rewrite that inner script entirely, silencing the voice that says you should’ve known better. This shift, though deep and sometimes daunting, is entirely possible. For me, EMDR therapy and hypnotherapy felt as quick and effective as flipping a switch. I’m not a counselor, therapist, or doctor—just someone whose past kept triggering the same painful patterns, holding me back from living out my purpose.
After a few defining moments, I found myself thinking about Red’s quote from The Shawshank Redemption:
“Get busy livin’, or get busy dyin’.” I chose to
get busy healing—and everything changed.
Truly letting go
True letting go means acknowledging what happened without carrying blame that was never yours. Both EMDR and Hypnotherapy are awesome at guiding your brain to make these helpful changes.
EMDR
What it is in a nutshell
EMDR helps your brain sort through upsetting memories, kind of like tidying up a messy filing cabinet. It helps those memories stop feeling so heavy, creating new, more positive pathways.
Hypnotherapy
Quick & Simple
Sometimes, our past experiences – big or small, from childhood hurts to traumatic events – unknowingly twist what we believe about ourselves.
I know, because I’ve been there.
This blog is my personal journey, sharing how EMDR therapy and hypnotherapy is incredibly effective in helping me release those subconscious reactions, significant memories, and flashbacks that kept me stuck. What I’ve learned is that EMDR affects everyone differently, and my experience highlights its power in processing those lingering emotional wounds.
No matter what brought you here, you’re not alone. Thousands are finding a way to quiet the past with EMDR and hypnotherapy. It’s never too late to rewire your brain, change how you think and talk to yourself, and open the door to a bright future filled with purpose and real connections.
Remember what Robin Williams told Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting… “it’s not your fault.” You were meant to become the person you were born to be. You can retrain your brain and move forward, so never lose hope! And as a person who’s faith keeps me steady, read my view on why God allows dark trials here.

It’s Never too Late
Why EMDR Therapy?
Because Crazy Doesn’t Work.
For years, I battled:
- Insecurity and self-doubt rooted in past experiences
- Repeated negative patterns that weren’t serving me
- Old beliefs that weren’t even true
- Negative chatter in my head
- Being drawn personally and professionally to narcissists
- The exhausting desire to change others
EMDR therapy was my breakthrough for releasing past burdens and clearing out emotional clutter. It helped me move past those painful memories and flashbacks, creating a new, quiet space within. If you’ve tried conventional counseling without seeing the shifts you long for, especially with persistent emotional echoes from the past, I’m writing this blog for you.

Becoming “Happy”
Why Hypnotherapy?
Because Healing Doesn’t Have to Take Forever.
After EMDR helped me release the emotional weight of past trauma, I felt lighter—but there were still stubborn patterns that wouldn’t budge. Hypnotherapy was the next step, and it changed everything.
It helped me:
- Build deep, lasting confidence
- Eradicate thought patterns I couldn’t seem to shake
- Rewire my subconscious—quickly
- Feel grounded, safe, and in control
- Return to who I was always meant to be—before life’s noise took over
Here’s how EMDR and Hypnotherapy are different (at least for me):
- EMDR helped me process trauma and release emotional residue from the past
- Hypnotherapy helped me transform my future by creating new, powerful beliefs in my subconscious
- EMDR works with eye movement and memory recall to desensitize pain
- Hypnotherapy works by relaxing the conscious mind and accessing deep subconscious beliefs
- EMDR helped me reframe old events
- Hypnotherapy helped me rewrite my internal script altogether
If EMDR opened the door, hypnotherapy walked me through it and said, “Welcome home.”
This blog is for you if you’re ready for real, rapid, life-changing results—and more peace and purpose.

Letting Go of Crazy: Rewriting the Narrative That Was Never Mine to Begin With For a long time, I honestly believed I was crazy. Not in the clinical sense, thank goodness. Not even in the casual way people throw around the word—"you’re crazy!"—when you’re emotional, or sensitive, or perhaps reacting more intensely than they think you should....
